Characteristics of Japanese Nakiri Knife
Nakiri knives, as you can see from the name Nakiri, are knives that specialize in cutting vegetables.
Before Western culture came in and Santoku knives were used, they were commonly used to cut vegetables.
The shape is a square shape as a whole with no sharp tips.
The thickness of the blade is thin and there is almost no warpage.
Since the entire blade is parallel to the cutting board, you can cut vegetables neatly and easily. Also, as a cutting method, use push-cut instead of pull-cut.
